What makes our Original flavor so unforgettable is its simplicity. Browned butter, vanilla, and a sprinkle of sea salt. That sweet and salty combination is what started it all! This cookie began as part of a small menu of offerings in a little deli in the small beach town of Cayucos, California. When customers would walk in and buy out the day’s supply, the Hozie sisters turned to each other and said “we need to open a cookie company.” Nearly 15 years later, this Original Brown Butter Sea Salt cookie, the cookie that started it all, the OG(!), is the flavor you should always have stocked in your cookie jar. 

It’s the most wonderful time of the year when our Spice Brown Butter Sea Salt Cookie is back on the shelves and in your cookie jars! We’ve taken the classic pumpkin pie spices and folded them into our rich brown butter to give you the cookie of the season! Nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves all work harmoniously together to bring you the flavor profile you’re craving this time of year.

All Brown Butter Sea Salt Cookies are made with brown butter. First, we gently brown the butter to create a rich nutty flavor. After hand-rolling each cookie, they are sprinkled with a touch of sea salt as they come out of the oven. They are then sealed by six and packaged into our signature gift box by the dozen.

Cookies are best enjoyed fresh! Ours have a 3 - 4 week shelf life. Enjoy!
